Deanne Kissinger

Deanne leads Talent Management and Engagement at Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC. Duke Energy is a Fortune 150 Company and one of the largest electric power holding companies in the United States, providing electricity to 7.7 million retail customers in six states. It has an operating revenue of $25.1B and approximately 30,000 employees.

Deanne started her career in the commercial side of the business in sales and sales management for pharmaceutical organizations including GlaxoSmithKline in both the United Kingdom and United States. She now has over 20 years of international experience in various aspects of Talent Management and Leadership Development in industries including pharmaceuticals, consumer goods (FMCG), property, manufacturing, finance and utilities. She was previously the Vice President, Global Talent Management at Diversey, Inc where she enabled a successful divestiture from Sealed Air. She gained experience at other leading organizations such as Honeywell, Sealed Air and Diageo (Smirnoff, Guinness, Baileys, Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker, and Captain Morgan) both in the UK and Australia. Also in Australia, she worked at Westpac Bank and The GPT Group.

Deanne earned a Bachelor’s of Science (BS) in Marketing Management from Grove City College in Pennsylvania and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Melbourne Business School in Melbourne, Australia.
