Anne Milgram is a distinguished American attorney and leader with a career spanning federal, state, and academic roles. From June 28, 2021 to January 20, 2025, she served as Administrator of the DEA, overseeing over 10,000 staff in domestic and international offices. Previously, she was New Jersey’s Attorney General (2007–2010), where she led statewide law enforcement and reformed the Camden Police. A former prosecutor in Manhattan and at DOJ, she led human trafficking prosecutions. Milgram also taught at NYU Law, launching data-driven criminal justice reforms. She earned a B.A. summa cum laude from Rutgers, an M.Phil from Cambridge, and a J.D. from NYU School of Law.
