Douglas is an executive coach, leadership advisor, and author who works with CEOs and their teams, boards, investors, and elite athletes to navigate leadership, strategy, performance, and risk. He is the co-author of the Harvard Business Press leadership guide, The Real-Time Leadership Playbook (2023), which provides a practical framework for mindful alertness, option generation, reality checking, and effecting change. His second book, MYPRISM: Override Your Autopilot, Choose Mindful Leadership, was also published in 2023.
He has 28 years of experience in advisory and consulting roles to senior executives on leadership, strategy, communication, governance, and organizational transformation including mergers and acquisitions and divestitures across industry sectors. He was also a practicing litigation attorney skilled in witness examination, negotiations and arbitration and is admitted to the bar of New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Douglas was previously the Head of Strategy for Group Insurance, a $20 Billion business at MetLife. Prior to MetLife he was an Associate Partner in strategy consulting at McKinsey in New York. Before that, Douglas was a part of the Deloitte Consulting’s M&A practice where. he developed playbooks to guide organizational change. Douglas was an attorney with Herbert Smith (London and Hong Kong) and Drew & Napier (Singapore).

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Coaching (Harvard) and is on the panel of executive coaches of the American Association of Corporate Counsel. He is a qualified Executive and Organizational Coach from Columbia University and holds an MBA from Fordham University where he received the Goode Award for Excellence in Finance and an LLB (Law) from National University of Singapore (Upper Class Honors). Douglas was the recipient of the Montrose Book Prize for being the top graduate in Jurisprudence.
Douglas now splits his time between Miami and London having previously lived and worked in New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore. He speaks Mandarin as a second language, is learning Spanish and re-learning the classical piano.
